Me, Reading and the Story of a Guide Dog

As a young girl, I used to have multiple interests.

I collected postcards and stamps. I copied songs from magazines and I loved listening to Italian music.

I loved to read everything.

Then I came to a stop. I don’t know why.

After some years I resumed reading very interesting and meaningful books – mostly contemporary and romance novels. I also exchange books with my niece Luana because we both love to read.

One day, when I’m no more, I’ll leave these books to my niece and her children.

The latest book I read

Image: cover of Attraverso i miei piccoli occhi by Emilio OrtizThe recent book I read is titled Attraverso i miei piccoli occhi by Emilio Ortiz (translation: Through My Small Eyes) and it touched me immensely.

It tells the story of a guide dog for the visually impaired, the story of a blind boy and his dog.

I loved it, it moved me, I saw myself in it as a disabled person, needing the help of others do many things daily life.

I want to read more from this author.

To my readers: What have you been reading recently?
