Updates on my family and my niece’s upcoming wedding

I’m Luana‘s aunt, and today I want to tell you about our relationship since she moved out to the family house here in the Velletri countryside back in 2017.

Luana is not only a niece for me: she has been my greatest friend since her childhood and I love her to the moon and back.

We have plenty of insightful conversations every day about so many things, whether they’re pleasant topics or not, like family issues and health concerns.

Even more so since in October 2019 I lost my brother-in-law (and Luana’s father) to leukemia and we have both been facing depression. We know that he’s with God now, but as human beings, the pain was just too strong to bear with simply. We are only human, aren’t we?

My niece’s upcoming wedding

Now I want to tell you about Luana’s upcoming wedding with her boyfriend.

They are preparing for it and organizing it in detail this year, because it will take place (probably) in September 2020.

They want to make it simple but beautiful. These days they’re actively looking for churches and restaurants where the celebration and the following party may take place. She already chose her dresses (who knows what he’ll choose?). I’m also curious about the party favors; they’re just talking about those for now, but I know my niece wants to draw and design her own invitation cards.

I hope that Luana is going to show me the invitation artwork before she sends it to printing! I love her drawings so much!

I’m so happy about it, but I’m nostalgic about the time she’ll leave here to create her own family elsewhere. I got used to her daily presence.

I’m going to miss her a lot.

The family

I love Luana’s siblings, my darling nephew and niece. They’re two good young adults, desperately looking for a job. I pray to God that they find it soon!

My sisters are also so dear to me. We may be in conflict at times, having three different personalities, but I wouldn’t change them for anything in the world.

And with my mother… just the same. LOL

Dear Readers…

Thanks for your time. You’ve read so far! Please, feel free to leave a comment below if you so desire. I will try to respond as soon as possible, with Luana’s help.

And a big thank you to my niece, who helps me with typing these journals.

Have a lovely day!

(Thanks to all who are part of my little universe and make it bright!)
